About Me

ABOUT ME

We are a couple from North Carolina, USA. Between us, we enjoy taking hikes, sitting outside, reading, writing, meeting people, playing music, cooking simply, and growing food. In recent years we have been learning about permaculture, ecological design, and renewable energy. We like meeting new people and getting to know new perspectives.

We have each traveled and stayed with local hosts in other times and places, through couchsurfing and otherwise. Our hope as surfers is to learn about what it's like to live in these places, and to help with whatever projects we can.

PHILOSOPHY

Life as I understand it is a mysterious thing that's worth our staying curious and good-humored about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host, surf, meet up, yes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted in lots of different places, and surfed around as well. They've all been good experiences. Lots of interesting and thoughtful folk moving about, and I'm glad this website has given me the opportunity to meet them along their various ways.
