Hi, guys! I`m Alexandra. I living in the great city Saint-Petersburg but now in Batumi, Georgia. I graduated the State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health, named after Lesgaft. My major is sports journalism. I worked in local newspaper but now I'm into social media and I like to edit travel videos. Really love beautiful architecture, art, meet new people, traveling by hitchhiking with a tent and explore new things. Want to learn new languages and cultures, to learn riding on bicycle and swim (unfortunately I can’t).

Interests

I like visiting sports competitions, furthermore, I`m a fan of ice hochey team "Sport Club of Army" from St. Petersburg. Of corse, I like reading books, visiting museums and theaters. Now I try to improve my English by different ways: going in English speaking club, watching movies in English, reading books and visiting excursions in English. I would be happy to meet with local people. I like nature, hiking and spend time with a tent in beautiful nature places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listen English songs, for example band Coldplay (I made my dream true and have visited the concert of Coldplay this year in Seoul, South Korea!), Beatles and also rock, indi and classical and neo-classical. I like Russian band “Pompeya” from Moscow, Portugal the Man, Artic Monkeys, Kodaline. As well a little bit Russian rock and neo-classic like Ilya Beshevli. As for books I prefer classic literature and some books in modern literature. I like realistic novels or adventures. The last book was by Victor Gugo. I really like theater, especially plays by Vampilov. This is great for soul and esthetic pleasure for myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climb the mountain in Karelia, Adygea in Russia, hitchiking, traveling by myself, traveling by hitchhiking from Saint Petersburg, Russia to Capu de Rocka, Portugal - both ways by hitchhiking ( about 11 thousands km). Christmas traveling by winter hitchhiking. Destinations Tallin-Riga, Riga-Vilnius, Warsawa-Kraków. Dancing a salsa, even I never try to dance in general. No doubt, that’s was a good experience. Organisation of tours in Kola Peninsula - hunting for the Northern Lights.

I can show you Saint-Petersburg! Having come to this city once you want to come back here again and again. You'll especially like it if you visit Saint-Petersburg from the end of May to beginning og July. It’s right the time of white night here. That means it’s not dark at night. Such a geographical singularity! One more amazing thing is bridge opening. Guys, it`s really awesome! You're welcome!
