ABOUT ME

Hello there! My name is Alexandra & I currently live in Southern California about 45 mins away from San Diego & 10 from Laguna Beach. I love meeting new people & experiencing new things on a day to day basis. I am interested in photography & want to tie that in with my travels as time goes on. I love going to concerts, eating good food, exploring new places & having good conversation! Seeing the world & traveling is the best education anyone can get & I would love to help people (and myself) achieve that through CouchSurfing!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live at home with my parents & my brother at the moment so I don't necessarily have an extra couch but I am more than happy to let you have use of my room if you stay here. (I can sleep out in my tv room) I just got back from traveling so I am looking for a new job meaning I have some downtime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I had the opportunity to stay with people in Portugal & in Paris.

My two friends & I were traveling through Portugal & were blessed to have stayed with two awesome girls Ezther & Eva. They were so sweet! Made us feel right at home, offered dinner, let us use their washer & dryer, full bathroom & even took us out all nights we were there & we were able to meet a lot of their friends & get a real feel for their city. They took us in on very short notice too but made our stay amazing! Would love to have them come see California when they get the chance!

My next experience was in Paris with a lovely girl named Bi. She also took us in on extremely short notice. (3 am to be exact) & was honestly one of the sweetest girls I have met! Took us ALL around Paris for 4 days (all day & night long) & was so caring & selfless. Made sure that we felt at home in her flat & made all the time in the world for us. She for sure made a great impression & made me fall in love with Paris that much more. I will make sure to go back!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The life my grandmother has lived.
Spontaneous road trips to San Fransisco, Mammoth, Utah, Arizona etc.
I tried out for a show called Fear Factor, aha.
Flew in a 3 seat plane over the Grand Canyon (beautiful)
Bungee Jumped the 5th highest jump in the world (Austria)
Para glided over the Apls in Austria
Touched African soil
Backpacked Europe spontaneously
Tomatina 2012 in Spain
