Hey hey! I have been travelling the Silk Road from Turkey through to China on bicycle. Will now continue through Japan and into Myanmar. Cant wait to explore these countries!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had brilliant experiences couch surfing so far with my friend Jesse Samuel Marchbank who has been arranging them (you can check his references for us if you need). Now I have decided to set up my own profile and explore myself, and when I get back to Australia have the opportunity to host others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - whats been on the playlist as I cycle - SBTRKT has gotten me up the mountains, and Todd Terje. But then so has First Aid Kit and Ella Fitzgerald. Beethoven too has done his bit. Movies - just saw The Lunchbox. (I work in film therefore it takes me a while to actually get round and see movies). Books..... I'm reading Neil Gaiman at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played kok-boru in Kyrgyzstan. (it's like polo but with a decapitated goat instead of a ball. Although lets be honest - no animals were harmed in the playing of our match - a saddle cushion was strung up to form a goat-like figure)
