About Me

Hi there! My name is Alexandra. I have many hobbies and absolutely love to learn new things. Here in Montana, I normally ride horses, hike/backpack, cycle, run, bake/cook, try nice restaurants, dance, and many many other things. I go from getting dirty from a fun adventure to dressing nice and going out - or staying in and making a lovely meal to share with friends. Life's experiences are precious to me.

I have always been a hard worker and currently own my home in Montana. I understand how to treat people's places with respect as I view any home as a long-term asset vs a short-term one. I grew up with class. I am happy to help around with daily duties and am open to many types of adventure if you decide to include me. I do not smoke but have no issue with those who do.

I truly love to meet new people and learn about all of the different ways to live in this world. Meaningful conversation is what I seek for and life lessons that I may learn from conversation is always enjoyed.

I am a wannabe cook - so if you have a meal you'd love to share with me or I can share with you, I would be enthralled! I am currently on a path to understanding my true purpose and potentially changing my career and/or location. This life is too short and I am here to make the most of it with other like-minded individuals.

You never know when you may not be able to do what you've always wanted or planned to do. Act now.

With love,

Alexandra

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always loved to travel. I haul my horses from state-to-state and fly when I can. This December, I have decided to take a leap of faith and travel for the next 6 months+. I have a very open mind about where and what I want to do. Hardly a plan. I have started by purchasing a ticket to Ludovico Einaudi's concert in Milan. I love his music as it speaks to my soul.

I want to join Couchsurfing to make true connections in a world that can easily seem isolating when glued to a screen. I look forward to meeting true locals and getting a feel for what day-to-day life is like and maybe even some hidden gems that you love to do. And maybe I can return the favor in the future and introduce you to beautiful Montana where we have Glacier and Yellowstone National Park!

With love,

Alexandra

Music, Movies, and Books

I can not choose a favorite genre of music as I listen to most anything. I love classical, red-dirt country, alternative, party, etc. I plan to see Ludovico Einaudi in Milan this December which is one of my favorite composers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I competed in rodeo and made it to the National Finals. I breakaway rope and barrel race. Search it!

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I have ridden horses since I was young and love to share information on the old western cowboy culture or (if you have a horse handy) teach you how to ride! I love to cook for people and share recipes. I can teach you how to do basic swing dancing as well.

LEARN: As previously mentioned, I love to learn... anything! Since being new to traveling solo and on a budget, I would love to learn any tips you may have or experiences worth having around your city or abroad. I would also love to learn to make a meal that you enjoy or a pastry you like to bake.

SHARE: I used to bartend and it has led me to enjoy all types of liquor and wine. I love to share my favorite whiskeys and wines and hear about your favorite spirits. I also love to hear about people's lives, interests, passions, lessons, hardships, priorities, and self-reflection. I believe we are all trying to figure out where we land in this world and forget to be present.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean, dance, converse, attend an event or adventure, etc. I am open to anything and happy to find where I can be helpful as you accommodate my living situation.
