About Me

Currently on a van trip with my girlfriend Camille through Canada, the US and down to Mexico!
We are both from Montreal, she's a too-cool-for-school tattoo artist and I am a recently graduated family doctor who will eventually need to find a job...

Using Couchsurfing to meet people and maybe escape 1 or 2 cold nights in our non-insulated Dodge caravan...

We can provide French lessons, good banter, cooking skills, debates on NY vs Mtl bagels (or anything really), travel stories, wild mushroom knowledge, or quietness if that's your vibe!

Otherwise at home, we try to get the most out of our life - spending time with people we like; drinking beer, or wine, or both; biking through Montreal's freezing winters, compulsively asking people about their astrological sign, sharing Alex's love for Crocs and bloody ceasar's, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to discover new cultures and trying stuff that I've never done! I think the best way to do that is to meet new people.

Interests

Hiking, biking, climbing (when I can commit to regular gym visits), food (food food food food food), the human body & mind; and funky stuff about astrophysics, unknown phenomenons, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh... Let me whip out my Spotify real quick. Currently into French disco (l'impératrice, nouvelle phenomene) , alternative (Moby, LCD Soundsystem), some folk (Death south), vapor wave/electronica (windows 96, Emancipator, Moderat)...
And obviously good old classics (Supertramp, Tracy Chapman, pink Floyd, daft punk) but who doesn't.?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Biking with the shittiest bike across plantations in the countryside of Vietnam and being chased after by a dog that wasn't so friendly after all.

- Hiking up Mount Kenya, doing a safari, and Africa in general.

- listening to awesome music while bathing in a river at a festival
