I enjoy spending as many days as possible in the year sleeping, hiking, canoeing, wandering, and eating outside. I have lived most of my life by the ocean and mountains on the west coast of Canada, camping in the rainforest to deserts and alpine regions in our old Westvalia, but I also gravitate to the joys and sights of cities. Looking forward to a long and plentiful exchange with interesting, good-hearted, and undoubtedly eccentric people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have "couch surfed" for many years, throughout Canada and the States, however through the help of friends of friends. Now with the intention of travelling to Europe, I realized to join an even bigger network!

I've never been able to say the alphabet backwards? Recently I was surrounded my three Sting Rays while diving.. I survived and that felt like an accomplishment.

I love teaching, but the only way to teach is to learn. I love to learn about people, places, lives, fun facts with the aid of National Geographic and Quiz Up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am easy going and really like to walk or bike around. I can share stories, laughs, a pitcher of a local beer, or a game of crib. And of course reciprocate the gesture of sharing space when you visit Vancouver.
