I am currently traveling cross country to the East Coast. On my way I hope to get inspired from people and places I visit. If my hosts wants to teach me or share with me something relevant to them such as a recipe, they don't only share it with me but I will pass it onto my next host. This is a very important experience to me and I hope to look back at it when I am 70 and talk about it with my grandkids. I just signed up as a full time student at the school of life; the time I spend in my hosts' home and town will be key in this learning experience.

Music: One of my favorite things to do is spending time with someone that introduces me to new music. When they play a song and tell me "listen to this part" "what does it make you feel?" "It reminds me of..." Having said that, I am open to all sort of music in a social context. I do have personal preferences, nowadays I listen to Minimal Techno, Andean Music, Tribal, Electro House, and folk music from all over the world as long as it moves my soul.
Movies: Anything that inspires me or blows my mind. Preferably with some sort of paradigmatic, philosophical, symbolic, psychological, spiritual or historical content, I am open to sci-fi if it challenges boundaries, I am also open to foreign movies that show unusual realities of local towns or ordinary people. Some of my favorite ones: Man from Earth, Mr. Nobody, The Way, Wild, K-Pax, Interstellar, The Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Samsara...
Books: Siddharta, The Yoga Sutras, The Teachings of Don Juan, Long Distance Real Estate Investing.

This is what I would love to learn or I would love my host to share with me: Gardening, growing food, self-sustainability, investment mechanisims, camping and backpacking skills, anything that moves their heart, stories, art skills, dance skills, their favorite movie, a tennis lesson, their favorite recipe, their favorite grandma's remedy, a walk to their favorite place in town, the possibilities are endless.
