I am studying in Dortmund, Germany to become a teacher. As I love travelling and personally think these experiences are amazing, I want to meet as many people as possible which is why I believe CS is a great opportunity.
I want to meet open-minded people who are full with ideas for the world and love in all forms. I want to hear stories of people’s experiences and lives, relive their memories and share special moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Really want to meet new people and cultures, to build various connections throughout different countries!
I used CS firstly while travelling with my sister and it simply offers the best way to meet local people, learn about places, food and local specialties.
I hope to host others soon, as well. This would be like travelling while remaining in one spot as the couchsurfer then hopefully shares some insights into their culture!

Interests

I love to eat, a lot! Though I am a vegan, I can show you good meals in Germany or we can prepare something in which ever country together:) sometimes it’s hard to live as a vegan while travelling, then I am okay with being a vegetarian if there is no other way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, especially rock music. As I love dancing, I am pretty much down to all kinds of music though I particularly enjoy live music and experiencing local music/ instruments!
I don't watch a lot of movies though I absolutley love Only Lovers Left Alive, it contains amazing music, as well. Check it out if you haven't seen it.
I love reading, does not matter what genre. It gives you the opportunity to dive into another person’s life and escape from reality. Some of my favorites are Harry Potter (obviously, born in the 90s haha), The History of Love (sounds cheesier than it is), Macbeth, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide (even wrote my B.A. on this one), Comfort of Strangers (love, love, love) and many, many more!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy picking up different phrases in other languages and learning languages in general. Though unfortunately I don’t have the patience and discipline to go through an entire learning process. Hoping that will change. I love learning things about cultures, cultural differences and local specialties. I love to eat so if you have special recipes, I’d love to learn those as well, as well as local food like vegetables or fruits. I can share ideas as well as I would love to discuss your ideas on the world:)
I also do sports climbing, we could go together! :)
