About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be true.
ABOUT ME
I want to discover the world and be inspired by all the human beings living in it. I like different people and cultures, and stories about them. I am eager for new experiences and knowledge. Sharing them with others is what I love the most. I try to enjoy life as its basis: clean water, simple food, good company and a safe place to stay. Obviously, I make the most of my youth by going out, going to parties and festivals in general or simply sharing stories over a beer, but I also like to be quiet. I like to simply enjoy the sound of pure nature, the beam of sunlight and the stars at night. I can stay endless hours in a park or in a street watching the world go by. I spend a lot of time thinking about life or trying not to.
I consider myself as a peaceful and easy-going not judgemental person and that is also what I expect from others. Love, respect and tolerance are my essentials of life just as water. I've never accepted racism, sexism, homophobia or xenophobia in any forms and never will. The Earth is kind so we don't need to be nasty. Those close to me would probably say that I'm an open-minded, laid-back and friendly person. However, don't be surprise if you see a shy little girl at the beginning. I won't lie. But when I truly connect with somebody, I am always interested in real friendship with give and take. We are all brothers and sisters. I am a dreamy one and I don't share my personal toughts easily. Never forget that I am free.
When I'm home I fill up my free time with music, drawing, books, food, fun and friends (mixing it more often than not). Moreover, I still try to find the time to go hiking, biking or to do some outdoor activities as often as possible. I am a novice environmental and animal activist as well and I treat with special care and affection all the little things that come into existence. We live in a land of wonders that we have to preserve and protect!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My main goal is to give something back to all those generous and sweet people who make my trips so special!
Remember that public profiles are nice but usually clumsily done. Everybody deserves to be known and has the right to be heard. Most of us are well worth discovering! Why won't you take a chance or give one!
Interests
I studied in Social Sciences so I'm interested in everything about sociology, psychology and pedagogy. Otherwise, I like literature, history, philosophy and all forms of arts such as music, paint, photography, architecture, etc. I absolutely love cooking and trying new food and drinks (let me try them all please!)
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a looooot of feminist, antiracist, anticapitalist and lgbtqia2s+ books. :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Discovered my country by hitchhking from east to west.
Discovered Europe by myself for 4 months.
Discovered the Rainbow family.
Slowly discovering myself.
The true fact is that everything around us is amazing.
"C'est par ailleurs perturbant parce que la vie tient à des details, et qu'il n'y en a pas d'insignifiants."
- Eric Gethers, Les baleines se baignent nues.
(I don't have the original english version, but this quote from "Whales swim naked" basically means: "It is also disturbing because life is due to details, and that there are no insignificant") I highly recommend this book.
