ABOUT ME
I'm constantly fascinated with what's around me.

I love arts (Dutch painters and architecture, English watercolours, modern-ish art), music (piano, accordeon, postmodernist artsy music), literature, cycling (you better not stand between me and my bike), travelling, hiking.

I enjoy unusual places, like abandonded buildings, underdeveloped and industrial areas, and moors.
I used to be very keen on books, but now I find it hard to focus on one book for a long time, so I often quit them before reaching the middle. Possibly, I'm addicted to the Internet.

I'm 99% vegan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm now here primarily to surf. But I find the whole idea wonderful and very eager to share my flat in the future (when I own/rent one). And also to meet people around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i had a very nice experience surfing for a couch in Moscow, Turku and Helsinki. All people we meet are usually very nice and interesting. I hope i'll be able to host soon , because independant travelling is great

Interests

English. I'm also learning German. I really love languages, especially pronunciation, i can listen to unknown languages for hours. I also love to imitate them or learn songs in them. I play piano and guitar a bit, make handmade accessories. I love volunteering for different events, as an interpreter or an english-speaking assistant.
About a year ago I got interested in the idea of rawfood eating, and everything that's connected to it - ecovillages etc. Really want to find out and experience more of it all!

Well, I really love most films by Richard Linklater + silly and weird comedy films Whithnail and I, What We Do in the Shadows, Swiss Army Man.
Will never stop enjoying watching and reading Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started up my own shop online, that was really a challenge, not fot the sake of money, rather for some kind of acknowledgement of my handmade things.
Slept on a cliff over the Black sea.
Travelled around Karelia, that was the best thing in my whole life.
Hitchhiked my way round Ladoga lake, Karelian people are so friendly!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - russian, english, handmaking, basics of piano etc.
Learn - i love foreign cultures, traditions, physcology, philosophy,music.
I love cooking and would gladly cook smth for you!
