Overview
About Me
Call me Lexie :)
I'm adventurous, independent, have a big appetite, love to dance, don't take myself too seriously, have lots of energy and am happy to go with the flow. I'm a low maintenance, budget traveller and I prefer not to make a plan because it always ends up changing anyway! I'm vegetarian, I like flowers and pretty things, am a bit of an artist, but am a terrible singer. I mostly cook healthy foods and enjoy making raw desserts, although I eat anything that's put in front of me including all things Nutella.
Being able to joke around and have a laugh is important to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Trying to travel as cheap as possible. Also I believe the best way to understand a place is to talk with the locals :) one day I want to be able to help fellow travellers out with my own couch!
Interests
Travel (obviously), making my own herbal medicines, learning new languages, drawing, writing, reading, playing soccer, yoga, eating, patting dogs, conservation, exploring nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Alt-J, Kid cudi, First aid kit, Powderfinger, Hermitude, Glass animals, Fleetwood Mac, The Weeknd, Jose Gonzalez, Tracy Chapman, to name a few. everything but heavy metal really! I also love discovering other people's musical tastes because there is just so much out there.
Books - The Beach, Shantaram, Harry Potter, This Boy's Life, Animal Farm, Marching Powder, Anastasia are just some that come to mind .
Movies - Harry Potter, Into the Wild, Definitely not a film buff but I am open to education. Not horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Roadtripped 1000km across the Rajashani desert on the back of a motorbike with my Indian friend. I got to see and experience real Indian life including a hell of a lot of delicious chai.
