Student from Cincinnati, Ohio with a big passion for travel and meeting new people. Always excited for new adventures, especially those involving hiking, climbing, or anything outdoors! I'm a third year the study of Operations/Supply Chain but my heart has been captured by non-profits. Philanthropy is one of my biggest hobbies and I love how it allows me to see another side of my community.

My other half is also a third year student, studying finance. He is an deep thinker and loves to cook. If you ask, he would love to cook you up an amazing meal! He loves simple, organic ingredients, Game of Thrones, and hammocking in parks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Chad and I love to travel. We have been camping all over the states and stayed in all sorts of cities but we always find the times when we are with others the most enjoyable. We truly love people and their backgrounds and stories.

I love the idea of sharing moments and space with other people. Travel is all about the people you meet and the experiences you share. As we prepare to spend 5 months of this year in Europe we decided the best way to learn about European culture is to find out from the local's themselves! We are so excited!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is classic rock, folk, and southern gothic. All time best artists are Fleetwood Mac, First Aid Kit, Fleet Foxes, and the Eagles. Chad loves classic rock and the occasional pop song.

I'm currently reading "Grandma Gatewoods Walk; the Woman who saved the Appalachian Trail". I just put down "Crazy Love" and a wonderful book on herbal/natural beauty products. Chad isn't the reading type, mainly sticks to the daily news and vlogs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alexandra: I've hiked all over the country and globe, but the most amazing hike I've done was a 24 mile hike up a mountain in Alaska that involved rain, snow, sun, and lots of rock! It took a lot of strength but the view at the end was beyond worth it.

I love to learn. My ears are always listening for new words, stories, and adventures. I also can share stories about my time in other cultures, about the U.S.A and life as a student.

I can teach you how to tie a cherry stem in your mouth..so that is pretty impressive also;)

Alexandra: I can share conversation over an amazing cup of coffee. I love to make friends and getting to know someone is the best way.

Chad: Cooking. I can cook the best meal for you and your family with the simplest of ingredients. Watch out for the taste explosion!
