I am travelling the world and loving life. I started travelling in June 2015 in Aussie and New Zealand with the intention to travel for 2 months and that 2 months easily turned into much more. Now I've been travelling 9 months and have 2 more to go - I plan to return to the USA in May 2016.

Prior to travel I worked in graphic design, but my heart lies in doing hand made custom design and artwork. I have the intention to focus on my artwork for a living when I return to the USA.

I am a creative, spontaneous person who enjoys being active and meeting new people. I love to hike, trek, do yoga, explore new places/cities... pretty much anything that involves getting up and out. Though a good movie and ice cream always has a time and place.

I love good food and good company.

Of course couchsurfing makes travel more budget friendly, especially when you're travelling for a year! But more importantly I appreciate the cultural exchange aspect of CS. When I was in Australia and New Zealand, I spent time doing a lot of Help Exhange and volunteering. These were amazing experiences and I hope to have similarly positive experiences with CS.

Open minded to music - pretty much anything aside from death metal is fair game. Recently have enjoyed listening to Secrets by Boycrush featuring Watercolours. Always love classic rock and the Beatles.

Movies - blow, forest gump, love actually, most things by Tarantino. Anything with Kevin spacey or Leo

Books - alchemist, wild, an invisible thread. Currently reading "the monk who sold his Ferrari"
