Overview
About Me
I am a person interested in traveling around the globe, discovering new places, people, customs, food. I was a travel guide since I was 19 years old, I worked in Bucharest in a travel agency for 18 years. I moved then in Switzerland to continue my studies in anthropology, contemporary history and arts. I am found of theater as I made my Bachelor Studies in Theater History; I work a lot as a volunteer for different art festivals - music, photography, film, etc. but also for migrant camps; my other jobs are as a librarian for the Fribourg University.
I visited till now a lot of countries in Europe, USA and a little bit in Africa and Asia.
I would like to meet locals, speak about arts, politics and life in different places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I never did this till now. I think that I have to try. I like to meet people from other cultures and countries.
I may also host people in Fribourg, but I am leaving in a student complex. So, what I can offer is a bed, tips and good advice for visiting Switzerland.
