We're a couple who's just hooked up on traveling, cultures, languages and, most of all, people that possess all these things.

I'm Sasha, 22 y.o., a Saint-Petersburg (Russia) native, one of the oddest and most beautiful places on Earth. Being a language and culture addict, I work as a language tutor and a translator, but in my heart, I'm a writer, a whole separate thing from what I do for a living.

As I mentioned, I'm into languages. I speak English fluently, learned Norsk, French, and Spanish but all of that remains on a basic level. I stand for a theory that our language shapes the way we think. Kinds of my philosophy.

We love art. A way to percept and catch beauty, get to new worlds and stories.

Literature is my thing. Can tell all about Russian literature, if you want a lecture (an interesting one!) on it. Max is really fond of painting, painters and he can talk forever about music!

We're into something like James Blake, Sigur Ros, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, Moderat, Radiohead, Keane, so electronic-ambient and really good indie/folk music.

Movies? Well, we're standard movie watchers. Love the classics, something independent, sometimes good comedy. I'm just hooked on period dramas. I think that's my favorite. If you like Downton Abbey, The Crown, and co, we have A LOT to talk about. Max loves sci-fi, like Blade Runner, Interstellar, Space Oddisey and so on.

I personally think TV shows are new and sometimes underestimated walk of art that you should pay close attention to.

Book? Oh, there are so many. For me, it's Tolstoy (obviously), Nabokov, Jane Austin, Kazuo Ishiguro, Turgenev, Maugham. Max loves Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.
