Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of traveling in combination with meeting new people. Hosts are often the best local guides you can find and it is just comforting to get some support during the first days in a foreign country, especially when you travel alone.

Interests

As you might imagine by looking at my profile photo, my passion is the carneval in Venice. I don't go there every year (due to time problems), but there has to be a new costum for every stay. The costumyou see here is the latest one and I liked to think of it as an ice princess, however, thanks to Walt Disney, it was renamed into "Elsa" by most children (however they were really upset that I don't have a magic wand). Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open-minded concerning music and movies (except horror movies) and am eager to exchange and talk about your favourite movies and books.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some traditional German cooking and backing knowledge. I love outdoor activities, e.g. climbing, canyoning, and can share some adventures with you. And of course giving first aid in case of an emergency shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand maybe I should improve my stitching skills beforehand :).
