About Me

HELLO ALOHA OLA OLA, SOME WORDS ABOUT ME:)

Hello, dear Travelers and great hearts! My name is Ola, I'm 23 :) I try not to eat meat, but sometimes I'm very happy to eat just a little piece:)

I'm a sunny, funny, active, responsible, kind, helpful, wise, and intelligent person from Poland, originally from Belarus:) Since 2017 years I live in an amazing Polish city called Krakow, it's true happiness and luckiness to live here:) Please, come and check it out:) For sure, in our capitalistic world, we need to work/with someone even sometimes: for 2 years I worked at an international IT company as a tech-theory-based IT Recruiter! I had big big big success, but when I understood that all my days look pretty the same and there is no life-profi development, I skipped the job. After half a year of traveling and mental fighting with my ex-boyfriend, I found a job in.. bank as an admin help for POs/PMs! Holy cow, how me and the bank? Yes, yes yes, I know, I did a small mistake, but this mistake taught me a lot: breaks stereotypes, makes me more professional and serious, and meets me with great people. But I still feel that I am not in a proper place. It's only my second job in my life, I'm trying to rich myself to understand myself better! I hope my third job will match me 100%: people, help, art, organization - what can be better?:))

I spent my happy childhood in Belarus with my family, friends, and pets! It was an amazing and pleasant time:) And due to my good results on the exams in my school, my parents offered me to study and meet my adult life abroad, in Poland. I loved my studies, and I still love Poland. Every day here I learn how the real life looks like. This choice to move to another country has changed my life! Moreover, only in Kraków I realized how life is diverse, great with its adversities and happy moments, how it's complicated, but at the same time, because of this, interesting!

It is worth mentioning, that we should be more open to each other, we should communicate more, understand each other better, we should travel more, do good things, to pay attention to every sign of our destiny etc, because we have only one life! So, here I am!

HOBBIES:

I'm a beginner musician, I play piano and acoustic/electro guitar, but now I have some period related to electro sounds - I'm learning how to connect electro melodies with a piano base, I learning how to play synthesizers:) I'm more confident in my singing rather than playing:) Ahhh, Radiohead inspires me since I was 3 y o:)) In advance, I'm really shy to jam, but I'm practicing how to be more open with the music:)

I draw award colorful shapes never knowing in the beginning how the painting will look like. I take great pics with my phone and I learn how to edit short movies or films.

My dream is to make a short movie and create a music base for it.

I love animals and people, as well:)) I love hanging out, traveling and hiking, joking, watching movies (with a deeper sense), I'm dancing contemporary dancing and I love to swim.

I took karate for 5 years, I danced for 10 years in my childhood, and I was signing in choir for 6 years!

WITH WHAT CAN I HELP YOU?

I'm quite good at tending the garden(because we have a big garden with fruits and vegetables in my home country). I can do any housework, help with pets, help with my approach to you, I mean I can feel people very well and we can talk about many things, sometimes even difficult. If you will need any help - please, don't hesitate! For sure I will be able to help you with the accommodation in Poland:)

CURRENT MISSION:

- To find my life way! Unfortunately, I can't decide what I really want to do, in what I really interested in and good at, because I would like to do and try everything that I can!

I think about my life way all the time! And that is why I try to open the world: travel, use all the opportunities that I have, and meet new people! Gain more experience to say shortly.

- To help people.
- To leave a good thing after me.
- To show or create smth new.
- Always take care of my family.
- To be a professional musician.
- Be a better partner and friend.

PHILOSOPHY:

- Whatever happens, has its one reason, but happens for the best one day for sure.
- Love is everything we really need.
- Do good things and it will obviously turn back and treat people as you want to be treated.
- Smth exists under our heads.
- Just live and try not to be angry, grudge-bearing, and jealous... Be yourself, and be open to the world.

Thank you for your patience and see you soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sooooo...

I will say again, that my moving to Poland changed everything, especially my vision of the world!:) To say truly, I have never known before, that it's possible to travel a lot and in such interesting ways as hitchhiking and Couchsurfing! I just couldn't imagine that it's one of the most important, interesting, and magnificent opportunities of our life to meet new people with their unique life stories! Before moving to Poland I preferred to meet and talk only with people of my language or my culture... Why did I think like this? With all my heart, I really don't know! I think I missed a lot of great opportunities to meet and know new fine people:( However it's better late than never! Therefore, I'm here! I want to open more parts of our beautiful and diverse world, where the main things are people, animals, and nature:)))

To sum up, I use Couchsurfing because of its big amount of people, with whom I can meet, become friends, and travel, and who can also help me with my trip (hosting, guiding, good company, etc.). Of course!!!!... I will try to help them, too, at this moment in Poland territory.
