Hi! I'm a 26 year old university graduate from Canada who decided to quit my jobs and travel the world. I backpacked through South America in early 2016, lived in Berlin from 2016-2017 and am currently on a road trip around Canada with my boyfriend, Ger. I have a passion for travel, meeting new people and experiencing all of the world's diversity. I'm curious, energetic, enthusiastic and a bit of a goof. I can't wait to meet you!

While I've met a lot of amazing backpackers in hostels, I love the opportunity to get to know locals. I'm on couchsurfing because I hope to get beyond the typical backpacker experience to see the real life people have in other countries or to engage in a more meaningful cultural exchange at home.

Doing things I've never done before, sharing a bottle of wine or a pitcher of beer on a patio with friends, singing, figure skating, skiing, horseback riding, dancing, stargazing, cloudwatching, hiking, swimming, learning new languages, learning new skills, eating new foods, meeting new people!

I used to work in film sales, which meant I was able to travel around the world selling independent film rights to distributors in different territories. One of the perks of my job was getting to go to the Cannes film festival, where I was able to walk the red carpet and see a couple world premieres.

I've also gone paragliding. That was pretty cool.

Besides the usual story/photo swap, I actually enjoy washing dishes, pinning up laundry and alphabetizing books. I can also teach you how to figure skate and fold an origami crane. My boyfriend can help with home repair and other handy jobs. He also knows how to skip stones, which I think is pretty cool.
