Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that this is a great new way to travel on a budget, make new friends, and experience new things in the world! I was told about this website by my sister, another fellow wanderlust, and we wanna travel the world, no matter the means.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Grade 11, I went on a non-mandatory school trip (It was about 20 of us) to Costa Rica. During my time there, I volunteered with an elementary school that wasn't very well off. We played gamed with them, donated school supplies to them, as well as money to help build their school and buy new books. We also planted trees and went hiking during our 3 weeks there. It was an amazing experience, and I'd love for the chance to do more like that, in other countries as well.
