Hello everybody!

I'm Alex and currently on exchange in England. In my opinion, travelling is just a great opportunity to not only get to know people from various places, but also to get to know something about yourself. If there is the time and the money (bigger problem, since I'm a student :P) I love to discover places I've never been to, experience other cultures and meet new people.
Until now, I always stayed in hostels while travelling, so I'm definitely new when it comes to couchsurfing. I however just heard the best from friends of mine and thought that I should definitely give it the try.

I would describe myself as an open-minded, curious and adventurous person and I'm looking forward to everything that awaits me with couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, for meeting new people, I probably would never meet without using it. And for a different and more authentic way of travelling!

But I definitely love movies, which really make you think about what you just watched.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the greatest experiences, was definitely a hike at 2 a.m. on a volcano in indonesia and watching the sunrise on the top. (soaked in sweat! :D But it was a great experience!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Like I already said, I love meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. I'm definitely up for hanging out together, eating good food (in restaurants or just a evening, where we cook together), discovering the city or going out.
On the other hand, I can also do everything on my own, if somebody has no time or interest in doing something together.

When I'm back in Germany after my exchange, you can also visit me in Germany and I'll show you around!
