ABOUT ME

It's always difficult to boil myself down to a personal description box, so I'll tell you a little bit about why I joined.
I get just as much satisfaction from getting to know new and fascinating people as I do from traveling to a new country, and because of that I very VERY rarely travel alone. I can be a bit quiet at first, but I am a fierce friend with an authentic interest in other people's lives. I am lucky to have found many people in my life that I love and value, and I never want to stop looking for new friendships and relationships.
I'm currently on study abroad in Erlangen, Germany. I've been living here since September and will be here until late July. Until then I'd love to meet as many people as possible and make this experience even more unforgettable!
There's much more to be said here, but I'd love to reveal it in person instead.

My plans so far are not to host... My living arrangements are too tiny :|. However, if you're passing by or new to the city (or not new at all), I'm definitely available for coffee or hanging out. I can also give you any tips I may have!

Learning languages has fascinated me ever since I was younger. I've been studying German for almost seven years now. I'm no native speaker, but I'm pretty fluent. I've started Spanish too, pero no puedo hablar mucho :).
Traveling is obviously important to me. It enriches your life like nothing else. I say sometimes that the purpose of my life is to have a good story at the end, and I think traveling is vital to achieve that.
I also love film and theater. I've acted on stage and competitively on a team, through which I've made some of my strongest friendships. I love watching and analyzing film, and it makes for some great conversations!
PHOTOGRAPHY. Just recently got my first DSLR camera. Still learning. Neeeeed to learn more.
What else... I love listening to and playing music, drinking wine with friends, swing dancing, reading, talking.. the list goes on!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Most recently, I was on the island of Santorini, Greece, with a friend from college. We had just met a couple of guys who lived there and had a free day (it's the off-season on the islands) and offered to drive us around the island and show us the highlights (we lucked out majorly). They drove us to Oia, a beautiful cliff-side city on the island, with some of the most beautiful, colorful, chaotic architecture I've ever seen. We sat on a white rooftop for a while, where a couple dogs came up and decided to nap next to us in the sun. We sat there and took in the city and the ocean and the atmosphere. I couldn't get over how lucky I was to be able to be there, to be traveling at all.
