Overview
About Me
I split my time between southern Utah and Flagstaff, AZ (but I can't figure out how to change my location on CS anymore!) I love to run, hike, eat, swim, play music, and travel. I love animals, children, and most of all plants.
NOTE: I can't figure out how to make this website accept the location of the tiny, remote town in which I live. To clarify, I live in Boulder, UTAH, in Garfield County.
Also, I go by Sasha. It's a Russian nickname for my real name, Alexandra. But no, I am not Russian.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love adventures. I actually graduated from college by writing a thesis that, despite what I may have said at the time, was 100% about how much I love adventures.
I've surfed in:

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read! Lately, I have been reading a lot of books about the native plants of the Southwest, particularly the Colorado Plateau (on which I live). I listen to everything from 90s hardcore to Schubert. Favorites lately include Built to Spill, TV on the Radio, Chester Watson, and Beach House. I play the ukulele and the guitar and perform as a singer in my area. Not much of a movie person, but I fall into the Netflix k-hole on occasion like everyone else (:
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Adopted pets!! My dog travels with me (cat stays at home).
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach you how to make soup out of what grows in your front yard, and heal your ailments with carefully blended herbal teas (:
I have rarely met a person I couldn't learn from... I love hearing about people's lives, their triumphs, their mistakes, their stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
aforementioned tea expertise, home-cooked meals, ukulele serenades, and uplifting stories about human nature.
