ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Alex, I am originally from Boston but am currently living in Paris attending Culinary school for Patisserie. I grew up in MA and have since been on the move both here in the US and abroad. I've moved here and there in the past few years and love to travel any chance I have.
I'm a huge fan of cooking and local cuisines and always find it so much fun to explore and enjoy the different foods new cities have to offer.
Exploring new countries and places was a huge part of my life growing up and still is today. I think it is such an opportunity for people to gain knowledge, experience, and it is just overall so rewarding in so many ways. I'm always open to meeting new people, gaining new insights, learning from others and reconnecting with friends all over the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm fairly new to Couch Surfing, but very excited to make new friends and hopefully see and learn more about some new places.

Interests

I love traveling and moving, exploring new cities and meeting new people. I get bored easily being in the same place for too long, so I tend to move fairly often.
I'm very interested in different foods and cuisines and really enjoy learning about new cultures and local traditions. I'm always cooking at home, trying new dishes and generally trying to challenge myself in the kitchen.
I absolutely love being outdoors when the weather is nice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a degree in Film so my taste in movies is usually all over the place. As for books and authors, Hemingway is my absolute favorite, along with Fitzgerald and David Foster Wallace.
