ABOUT ME

In my opinion, the travel bug is the best thing that can happen to you! I love being able to drop everything and just go somewhere. I'm not overly spontaneous and adventurous, but I have my moments. It's a freeing feeling to have everything you need in a small bag and not have a plan.

I've been described as a laid back, bubbly and fiesty person. I'm usually smiling and trying to add in my two cents to make people laugh.

I like to experience new things and I think that it is important to put yourself through tough situations because it makes you stronger.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to take advantage of the CS project whenever I get the travel bug. I love to promote the CS project by sharing my prior surfing experiences and expanding the network.
I enjoy the opportunities to be a surfer & host and share in the spread of a very outgoing, trustworthy and generous community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to couchsurfing, I have been able to experience so many great things! Fun cities, amazing cultures, great people, beautiful sunsets, and life changing experiences. Traveling is full of high and low points, but it's the combination of both that make an adventure.

I've learned something from every place I have traveled and discovered even more about myself.

The part I love most about the CouchSurfing experience is beginning the meet & greet with a handshake and ending the send-off with a hug.

Interests

I enjoy all forms of art. Painting, sculpture, photography, dance, music, food.. whatever it is, I will find an appreciation for it.
I'm an outdoorsy girl. I like to go camping and hiking and be out in/on the water. Thunderstorms are my favorite and who doesn't enjoy watching a sunset. The four seasons are my favorite and I could never live in a place where I can't have them all.
Like many others, I am grateful for opportunities when I can sit among others and enjoy a good meal and a good drink.

Music- I've been known to line dance, ballroom dance, get low and flip my hair to pretty much everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the twinkling stars from atop a hot sand dune in the Sahara Desert.

Listening to the sound of the water splashing against a gondolas in Venice.

Welcoming the New Year by watching the first sunrise on the eastern most point of the US.

Being awestruck by the Eiffel Tower, when it sparkles.
