About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world and live a life of love and happiness.

ABOUT ME

I've been living in Vietnam for two years, teaching English and critical thinking to high school students. I love my work but I also like to travel and the more I do, the more I can't stop!

PHILOSOPHY
Be the change you want to see.
Treat others how you wish to be treated.
As one door closes, another one opens.
Live simply, laugh often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I cannot host anyone but I'd like to meet up with people. I can also show people around the city where I live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't hosted anyone but I have enjoyed spending time with couchsurfers who are staying with my friends.

Interests

At home: You can find me in coffee shops, experimenting with veggie/ vegan recipes in the kitchen, walking/ hiking/ cycling in the countryside. I'm not a party animal and prefer having a good conversation with one or two friends; enjoying live music or doing sports together like jogging.

When I travel: I really enjoy trying new food and exploring art galleries/ museums and seeing some of the natural wonders (waterfalls, mountains, forests). My favourite way to travel is by train or motorbike. I like to spend time seeing how other people live and understanding different cultures and ways of seeing the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning how to dye yarn and weave in a traditional Japanese way. In May 2016 I did a beginner's weaving course in Japan and it was a really special, creative and cultural experience.

Teach, Learn, Share
