MISSION - a revelation per minute

I'm an enthusiast in most things I do. Which says a lot and nothing at all, as it should be.

Things tend to be black or white. Either go all out or why bother doing something, when you can do nothing at all.

Music saves lives - no need to save your eardrums.

No labels needed: metalhead, hippie, CEO, lolita, centaur, educated, qualified, smug, humble, cis/trans, white/brown, "good" and "bad" are just words. And don't get me wrong, words are good, and possibly the best invention our species managed to put in the universe - but we can use them to do so much more than grind each other down into one of those tiny semantic molds. So, opinionated? Maybe that's a good label to keep. Just, let's expand, per usual.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I (somehow) still believe change can happen from down low, and from within.

Also, humans are still among the most interesting animals out there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak more or less 6 languages.. plus Latin and Piedmontese, my local Italian dialect. I have a personal interest in linguistics in general so I'm always ready to rant on about it. Glad to impart to anybody willing!

I can cook - and teach - kick-ass Italian recipes; now experimenting with vegetarian/vegan stuff.

I am a (self-appointed) master at backgammon, always happy to make new converts; don't have a board? don't worry, we can probably build one with less of a hassle than you'd think.
