ABOUT ME

I'm a travel-holic, mountain-holic and map-a-holic :)

I am a travel blogger and I like to inspire people to travel and make the best of life. This is my blog: www.bloguldecalatorii.ro. It's in Romanian, but I guess you can use google translate.

I am optimistic, ambitious, a perfectionist and I love life.

I like to learn something new every day and grow, I love to read and I believe in our potential to make our lives better.

I would love to travel all other the world, climb mountains, visit natural sites, historical sites, old cities, new cities, I doesn't really matter, I want to see it all and learn about as many cultures as possible.

I usually don't like tourist attractions that are very popular and run away from crowds as much as possible. I don't like museums, I am outdoorsy.

Sometimes I visit the ocassional must-see if I really want to see it, but usually I avoid paying (a lot of) money to see stuff that's not necesarily worth it, but is in fact meant to attract typical tourists.

Instead, the way I love to discover a new place (especially a city) is to walk around with no exact plan and turn left and right wherever and whenever I feel like it. And take lots of pictures :)

I do not smoke and I don't enjoy places where there's a lot of smoke and people who smoke in my presence.

I am alergic to animal hair (especially cat) and cannot spend the night in a house with a pet living inside. I am however crazy about cats and dogs and love to play with them (fortunately, that doesn't make me ill).

I are not a party animal, and during the night I like to rest, as I usually wake up early in the morning.

I am nice and tidy and don't make a mess when I surf. I respect the host's privacy and program.

I am a mountaineer and could not live without the mountains :)

I climbed most of the mountains in Romania and I also did several climbs in France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria. I would love to share mountain stories if anyone is interested :)
