About Me
Hello! I'm a Hungarian girl wandering around the world. Just moved to Athens. I used to be a volunteer in Lisbon, Portugal as a result of a completely impulsive but absolutely awsome decision for one year after finishing high school in Hungary.
I appreciate long walks and talks, trying out the best beers and wines according to locals and looking at mesmerizing architecture or getting lost in fairy-tale-like landscapes.
I finished high school and I decided to take a gap year, which turned out to be more than one in the end.
I would say I'm someone eager to explore (yeah, well... who's not on Couchsurfing?), someone who can have the most horrible puns, and rarely anyone finds them funny. Someone who loves to hang around in museums for the passion of arts and get lost in unexpected places. I also like to taste local cuisine and cook some good old Hungarian dishes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My perspective of travelling changed some time ago. I genuinely think that experiencing one's culture cannot happen without meeting locals. I'm on Couchsurfing, because I want to explore as much as possible and form bonds all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS: 1984 by George Orwell, Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
MUSIC: well, this would be a huge list, but to mention some; Hungarian - Bohemian Betyars, Szabó Balázs Bandája, German - Von Wegen Lisbeth, Faber, Italian - Coez, Frah Quintale, Portuguese (speaking) - Branko, Barbatuques, Cesaria Evora, Classics - Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Chopin, and I also enjoy some good old BB King or Eric Clapton
MOVIES: Lord of the Rings, Clockwork Orange, Memento, Fight Club, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Kimi no na wa and also Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox was quite awsome
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I randomly decided to move to Portugal alone for one year without knowing anyone in the country, then I decided to move to Germany again, without knowing anyone. Although, I only spent 3 weeks in the lovely Bavaria, because I unexpectedly ended up in the chaotic Athens. I make quite last minute and random decisions about where to live, and what to do, while always seeking out the happiness in other cultures and myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really love cooking, so I'm always open for teaching and learning new recipes. Also I love to explore traditional folk music, and learn some new words in each country I visit. I can also teach you some Hungarian, maybe our longest word "Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért." If we meet, I can tell you how to pronounce it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Meaningful talks about random important stuff in life, a lot of smiles and laughs and we can exchange our passion for cultures and exploration.
