About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to actually go through with couch surfing!!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I am on the Earth to learn things but that those lessons won't just fall into my lap - I have to go out and find them and make the most of what comes my way, good and bad. I think all people have a right to their opinion - but that doesn't make it right to force that opinion on others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed two couches so far and both experiences were great! I hope to be able to participate more soon and I'm really looking forward to hosting some people once I'm home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't begun my CS journey yet but can't wait to get into it!

Interests

Random things I'm interested in:
Reading (I think I already have more books than I could get through in one lifetime!), Russian history, German History, Makeup-Artistry, Photography, British Comedy (with a few exceptions), Dr Who, Religion (although I'm not religious), Learning new things (almost anything)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Coldplay, Sia, Lisa Mitchell, Sarah Blasko, Damien Rice, Jamie-T, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, Anna Ternheim, First Aid Kit, The Tiny

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe not that amazing for other people but for me: I left my country where everything was comfortable and known, to go work in a country on the other side of the world for a year, where I didn't know any people and didn't know the language. I've seen so many beautiful things here in Germany but the experience as a whole is truly amazing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really have any practical skills yet :S I'm only 21!! BUT - I can sew, I can make some cool jewellery if you give me the right materials, I'm reasonably talented at doing women's makeup...I would say my bet skill is listening - I'm a great listener! While I'm here in Germany, I'm always looking to improve my German and apart from that, I'll learn whatever anyone has to teach!
