I love traveling and meeting new people. I just graduated from university, and I'm visiting friends in Indonesia before I start a Fulbright teaching position in Belém Brazil. I'm excited to see the Amazon. I've wanted to go since I was a little kid obsessed with nature documentaries.

I'm new to couchsurfing, but I think it is an incredible idea. I've always tried to do homestays or visit friends when I travel, and the exchanges I have had from those experiences are some of my best memories.

Books: a lot... Right now I'm reading The Master and Margarita, and I'm trying to read Portuguese translations of The Book Thief and an Agatha Christie novel, but it's slow going

Music: bluegrass, classic rock, hip hop. I'm excited to hear new music from around the world.
