I'm a recent graduate of McGill University. I love to travel and (surprise) to meet new people. I am also very partial to: food, animals, the outdoors, and adventure. :) I also love to cook.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is such an added financial burden to travel, and it can often be quite lonely unless you put yourself out there. Couchsurfing seems to minimize both downfalls: it helps us to meet new friends and to minimize financial stress.

Interests

I am trying to re-teach myself things I used to be semi-good at in childhood, like swimming and skiing. I love to be outside in the summer cycling or walking.

I have been really into non-fiction books lately, but I love a good fantasy story. The Game of Thrones books captured my heart (and as did the show, before the last season....).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It won't sound THAT amazing, but there is a long road near Lake Louise, Alberta, up to Moraine Lake, that is just 15-20km completely up-hill. Last summer, my boyfriend and I road-cycled it in just over an hour. I was so proud of us! And dead-tired.
