ABOUT ME
Well, first of all, the boring facts: I'm 23 year old and I just graduated from medschool (University of Montreal). I'm going to live by myself for the first time so that will be my chance to host couchsurfers and start a new adevnture.
I found the first questions quite interesting to answer but I didn't get the chance to write all I had to say.
My main occupation here on earth is to sleep, eat and have fun. When I'm not busy with those three things, I go to work.
But what I do when I'm not on this earth is a complete other story.
I like to start DIY projects and never finish them because I get new amazing ideas everytime.
I lived in 3 different countries and speak fluently 3 langages : french, english and german. Hence, I ws educated in three different ways. First I went to school in Germany for 1 year. Then I was schooled in Quebec and France. I lived 3 years in France and when I came back to Montreal I went to a french school. And now I'm graduating from University of Montreal.
I love Montreal and walking through the city. Alas, life chose a different way for me, and I'm going to live in Shawinigan for the next two years.
When I'm not wandering and wondering around, I like to travel a lot. I went to almost every country in Europe, some in north Africa and of course United states and Mexico as they are near Canada. At the moment I'm exploring Costa Rica with my boyfriend.
One day I'd like to go to Asia especially South-East-Asia (Vietnam, thailand, Bali).
If you want to know more about me, just send me a request I we can meet either just for a coffe or for a couch.
PHILOSOPHY
Quite a difficult question this one.
Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going ?
The facts are listed but I ignore the real truth behind them. Maybe I will know when I get old and wrinkled.
For the moment my philoosphy would be : survivde the day and enjoy it as much as possible. The rest can wait.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just recently signed up but I'm eager to particpate more in the couchsurfing community in the future.
For the moment, I couchsurfed at a few places with the account of my boyfriend. But as I enjoyed it so much, I decided to create my own account to be able to host myself when I come back home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For the moment I had 4 couchsurfing experiences, wich were amazing, all in a different way.In Nashville I met this interesting woman who worked at Vanderbilt hospital and who made me visit the hospital and talked about the american health care system which was quite interesting for me since I'm going to work in the canadian one. Then in Lake Charles, the host we stayed at showed us how to eat and where to find the best Crawfish we ever had. In baton rouge, we were hosted by a guy who just sent us a request to host us because he was bored and wanted some company. And it was amazing as well. His friend took a day of to go with us to the blue bonnet swamp and because he was there and knew everybody there, we had the chance to hold a baby alligator and a snake. At last, and not the least, in Nwe Orleans, we met a funny and interesting couple who were on playing music on a roadtrip.
And I hope to meet a lot of interesting people in the future.
Interests
My first and biggest interest is to have fun and enjoy life, as everybody else I can imagine.
But this is quite vague. More precisely, I like to go horseback riding but sadly, because of my studies, I hadn't the time to enjoy this interest as much as I would have liked in the past 5 years.
I like to do DIY projects (do it yourself) and since I'm going to live by myself soon, I will have a ton of projects.
I also love to cook and bake cakes (and I like the compliments I get for it too). If you stay at my place, and I have the time, you could get the chance to tase my specialities.
I always like to try new and fun stuff. In the last two years, I played paintball (which I didn't appreciate so much because, as a general rule, I don't like to get hurt), went karting, rafting (that was cool!), started skiing (but I'm pretty bad. Well, everybody has to start somewhere). Recently I went ziplining 200 feet above the ground (this was awesome, if I could I would start my day with that). I tried to learn to surf but this was a pathetic failure, maybe I will give myself a second chance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read books, even though the last couple of years I didn't read as much as I used to because of my studies. In general I like fantasy books but I read every book that comes to hand when I have the time.
I'm not much of a music listener because I don't like what is playing on the radio (no music, no lyrics just boom boom) except for some indie rock and especially Monsters and Men. On my Ipod I have a lot of old music from the 70's like the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, America, the Doors...
As for books, I'm not difficult with movies. It can be stupid as it gets or bright and intelligent, if it is intertaining and not boring, then it is a good one for me. My all time favorites where little miss sunchine, Juno, lord of the rings, avatar, les misérables, and many others that don't come to my mind now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just recently I went ziplining over the jungle near Arenal Volcano. That was an amazing experience, flying 200 feet over the ground with the volcano on one side and the lake on the other.
Seeing the pyramids of Giseh and Chichenitza most definitly belongs to the highlights of my travels.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you the way to the perfect lemon pie (or other dessserts as well). Most people think it is difficult to make real "patisseries", but it is all about patience and precsion.
I can also teach you some french, german or english (au choix).
I'm always eager to share good stories around a beer or a coffee.
I'm open to learn anything that you have to teach me. There i so much to learn in this world, that nothing comes to my mind at this moment.
