ABOUT ME

I crave the small, poignant moments of life.

The rush of the first interactions in a new place, food that satisfies cravings I never knew I had, and intense 3-hour conversations with new friends I will never see again.

I want to experience life to its fullest extent. I adore aimlessly wandering in a new city as much as I love trekking up a mountain trail. As long as I make beautiful experiences, eat delicious food, and surround myself with pleasant company, I'm content.

Although I'd rather kayak down a river or spend the day climbing cliffs in a wooded valley, I also enjoy spa days and boutique shopping.

When I travel, I aim to experience as much variety and local culture as possible. Whether I am in a cathedral, museum, restaurant, park, or nightclub, I always seek authenticity.

About me: I am a French major/ Business & Journalism and Electronic Media minor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I grew up in Nashville, TN, and have always been very involved in music, theatre, and studio arts.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I don't have a couch to offer, but when I return to Knoxville, TN, I will! I set up this account during my semester as a student in Aix-en-Provence, France.

As a surfer, I will respect my host and his/her home and rules to the fullest extent. I want to help out in preparing meals and generally make the time I spend with hosts as enjoyable as possible. I would love personal recommendations and guidance, and if the host even wanted to give me a tour, I would be overjoyed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed, but I love camping, and my family hosted French exchange students every summer for 12 years during my childhood. Hosting exchange students showed me the importance of welcoming visitors into your home or country, and making them feel as if they never left their home.
