About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have the most positive impact here in my community until I can plan the next big trip.
ABOUT ME
I'm a home body who longs for the next adventure. I'm an environmentalist, humanitarian, collector of best friends, cat lady, gardener, and potter.
PHILOSOPHY
"... Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled... as to console,
To be understood... as to understand,
To be loved... as to love."
From a prayer by St. Francis
I believe we're all more the same than we are different. We're all in this together. I believe we are all obligated to learn (how little we know), rise to the challenge of living by what we learn, helping as much as we can, and feeling lucky to be able to do so. These are life's greatest pleasures, and traveling and hosting travelers is one of the best ways to achieve them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We can't always travel, but you can come to us! Always good to meet new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This year I ran my first half marathon... and ran another... on to the next!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you pottery if we have the time. I have a small space in town.
I know lots of local plants and can give you a tour of the UWG campus's grounds.
I can teach you how to bar hop Carrollton style! (We have lots of instructors in our group of friends who are better suited for this than I am!)
Carrollton is secretly a magical little hippy college town, and we love it.
There's a 16 mile long pedestrian/bike loop being completed in town. A must see!
