Being new on couchsurfing is not a trouble, but if you just want to stay with us in the idea of saving money and not sharing anything... that will not be good at all.
A short notice (less than a week before or emergency hosting) should be manageable if we have space, anyway don't hesitate to ask.

ABOUT US
Alex : I'm a crazy girl always smiling, dynamic and open minded interested in organic eating & ecological living.
Tom : Curious about everything. Try to improve himself all the time.

After visiting Europe we both left France behind us in 20013 to travel around the world. We lived one year in Australia all along the east coast then 6 months in New Zealand traveling all around both islands.
Now we are back in France until February 2016 at least. We really miss hosting people so we really want to be involved in the community, even having a drink, a meal or visiting some place will be interesting for us

ABOUT FOOD
We try to eat the most organic food possible, local producers, fresh and pest free products are our aim. Though we eat everything, this is a vegetarian and vegan friendly house (it could even be a paleo friendly house if you can teach us how to do) but we also accept the carnivorous people as we like good meat (Grrrrr)

This is also a allergic friendly kitchen.
Alexandra is unfortunately allergic to a few ingredients : Hopefully we really love to cook and are now really creative
- Eggs - Mushrooms - Wheat (so we have a lot of gluten free products) - Sea food - Sunflower oil and seed - All kind of nuts...except cashew, coconut and hazelnut

Never forget that we are limited, and we don't know more things than we know.
A nation is a society united by a delusion about its ancestry and by common hatred of its neighbors.
Difference is fundamental nutriment who helps to digest a lot stupids ideas.

We don't smoke, you can but not in the house, and we are 421 friendly.

Or cook something with you:) we really love that.
Share the best and throw the worst.
Rock-climbing, slacklinning, fire pois.

Showing the best places of the city we live in, be surprise and excited when a couchsurfer make us discover something that we ignored about our place.
Talk all the night about how to make a better world with wine and beer.

Thomas's parents own a bakery close to Bordeaux so if you are into it we can make you a free touristic tour of a professional bakery.

We both are in fermented food:
Sourdough, kumbucha, kéfir, kimchi, dosa masala, yoghurt...trying to do some cheese with raw milk (experimental step.)

We do our best to have organic, biodynamic and local products, because once you ate real tomatoes, fresh asparagus, and spray free strawberries you can't come back to the chemical agriculture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alex : Travel literally around the world
Tom : Answer yes without any hesitation when my wife asked me in wedding, but because of the cost of the ceremony, decided to marry later and travel first instead.
Sell the flat, leave our work our friends and our family to travel so far away from them.

Teach, Learn, Share

We really think we have to learn a lot of things from different people, from different countries and civilizations. It's why we think we need couchsurfing to kill false ideas from ignorance.

We both want to speak Spanish, we were good at high school but we both stopped talk this beautiful language and just keep the English. So we would love to host an meet people who speak Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bottle of wine, some chocolate.
Teach you how to mix and bake bread.
Teach you how to do yummy pastry (vegan, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free).
Introduce you to rock-climbing or slacklining.
