About Me

Starry eyed 23 year old Belgian male of the human species topped with sprinkles of nerdyness and a thirst of adventure. Generally the first guy to be down for any type of activity that goes out of the common, whether it be as stupid as climbing a crane or as refreshing as travelling the world. I have lived in Belgium my whole life, loving my country (mostly for the beer) and have taken most of my vacation time to travel the world. I finished my studies (mechanical engineering) in the beginning of september 2017 and travelled 3 months in South America after that. After 5 months of work in Strasburg, I am now traveling in my van again until the end of August. I am quite new to couchsurfing so don't be scared because I don't have many reviews, I am a gentle snowflake. I can also bribe you with some excellent beer :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard this community rocked socks and I'm always down to meet new people. So yeah... throw me a line and we'll shower you with in depth knowledge of internal combustion engines ;) (unless you prefer normal human talks).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music.... While I am very wide opening to all kinds of musical magic, you'll mostly find me listening to some unknown underground 3beat techno. Don't worry this doesn't mean I'm totally delusional, I just think it stimulates my brain :) I also listen to other stuff like rap, rock, polish techno, german techno, danish techno and techno techno.

Movies: I'm very cliché in that I think shawshank redemption is the best film in the world. I also liked one flew over the cuckoo's nest, batman trilogy, catch me if you can, a beautiful mind, memento, how to train your dragon ;), moon and goodwill hunting to name a few,

Books: I have broken my actual reading skills by reading too many mathematical formulas... I remember a time where I read stuff like eragon and cherub though... Those were the good days

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I also once got lost at night in some Cambodian city. Couldn't find my hostel so I made some cool Australian couple friends (love you guys) who agreed to let me sleep with them on their double bed. Turns out my hostel was actually just across the road.... Not my smartest moment either.

And in July and August I went to Congo to create a mini football field for the kids of a local association with some friends of mine :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Not really sure what goes in this section. I can share a bunch of travel experiences and tips I guess... Maybe even some physics wizardry if the problem is not too hard.

The only thing is I know about as much on politics as the cows which are my neighbours here in Belgium... Basically don't count on me to tell you why the conservative democrats should liberalize right wing extermism for the republicans because I don't know what you are talking about. (I used all the political words I knew in one sentence)
