About Me
Hi there, wandering couch surfer! I'm Alex, an English teacher currently living in Lille, North of France.
I am quite a foodie. I just love cooking fresh things from the market or spoil someone on a homemade Sunday brunch :) I am also really interested in nutrition and sustainability, trying to get better one step at a time.
I love politics and the way it shapes every single aspect of our lives. I believe that as citizens, we have immense power in our hands to change things, starting from the things we consume, the life we decide to live. I believe in freedom and non-conformism.
As a student, I got to spend one year to study in the US, which was a life-changing experience. At was amazed at people's friendliness. Since then I have spent a few summers in California which has become my dream place to live.
I’ve also been learning Japanese for a few years and I would like to improve my level by meeting with natives, traveling around Japan or hosting Japanese guests.
I would love to help you discover my area which is located one hour from Paris by train and very close to Belgium.
