I'm a student who started to travel by himself about 4 years ago. Since then I use every opportunity that I can find to discover new places.
I like being around people that are passionate about what they do, whether it's their job or hobby. You always find yourself learning something from this kind of people.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

For me it is mostly a way to meet people.
Sure you can do that in hostels but I think you instantly feel closer to someone when you see where and how they live, what they've pinned to the wall, what CDs they have or if they are the vinyl records kind of people, even stuff they've brought back from their travels.

I love couchsurfing for this opportunity, and to do it with people that have completely different background and culture makes it even more interesting!
