About Me

I’m a 30-year-old Brazilian who moved to the UK in 2020. I have a degree in Literature and Playwriting, and I’ve always been passionate about storytelling, culture, and the arts.

Since settling in London, I’ve made it my mission to explore every corner of this incredible city. I love going for long walks, discovering queer events, and experiencing how vivid and diverse London truly is. Museums, theatres, and musicals are always on my list, and I’m always up for meeting new people and sharing great conversations.

One of my favorite things is showing visitors around and helping them see London through my eyes—whether it’s iconic landmarks, hidden gems, or the city’s buzzing LGBTQ+ scene.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of cultural exchange and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Traveling isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about experiencing them through the eyes of locals.

Couchsurfing is a great way to share stories, learn from others, and make meaningful connections.

I am also passionate about Brazilian food and culture, and I am here to spread the word about my own country.

Interests

I’m a literature and theatre nerd who loves anything political and creative writing. Since moving to London, I’ve become obsessed with musicals—I can’t believe I didn’t love them before!

Music-wise, I’m all about pop and pop Latino. I’m also a language lover currently tackling my fourth one—Italian! When I’m not lost in a book or at the theatre, you’ll find me walking around the city, chasing the rare blue-sky days (a true luxury in England).

I also love cooking, sharing food, and chilling with good company—whether that’s exploring new places together or just watching TV with a great meal.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to books, 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' and 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' hold a special place in my heart—one for its raw coming-of-age story and the other for its magical, intricate world.

My favorite movie? 'Little White Lies'—I love a good mix of drama and humor. Recently, I’m Still Here has also made its way to the top of my list.

Music-wise, I’m all about pop and pop Latino—think tunes that make you want to dance or sing dramatically in the shower.

And when I just want to unwind, sitcoms are my comfort zone! Modern Family, Friends, and Abbott Elementary always guarantee a good laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I always praise myself for learning English in less than three years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing a bit of my Brazilian culture—especially through food! I’m always happy to cook for people and introduce them to Brazilian flavors. I also enjoy teaching about my language and culture, though I decided not to become a teacher (teaching is great, but the classroom life isn’t for me!).

What I love most is learning about other people—their stories, cultures, and experiences. Every conversation is a chance to discover something new, and I’m always up for that!
