About Me

DISCLAIMER: this is not a dating app, there are many people that treat this app as if it were one so if you are one of these people don't bother messeging me.
Please call me by my nickname: Taka!
As an enthusiast I always thought that Sao Paulo was too small for me so right now Im seeing what is the limit to what I can do and where I can go. I am a college student of international relations. Currently in an exchange programme on Toyama University. Adventure is my cup of tea, so I usually don't think twice before planning a new trip.
I'm 19 and my ambition knows no limits! I feel like I have what it takes to claim this whole world by myself. Just kidding! Or not?
Seeing so many countries close off to foreign people make me so sad, that's what inspired me to studying migration policies. Excited about meeting new people all over the world since this will give me a fresh perspective everytime!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to touch the world which always seemed so out of reach for me, now I finally see a way in which I could. This thirst for something out of the little pond of the japanese community of Sao Paulo city is what made me choose international relations. Now, having studied for 2 years, am excited about meeting real people, and thats what i'm looking for in the CS community, i'm tired of just learning by the books.

Interests

If its different Im in!
Right now interested in backpacking throughout japan and southeast asia
I'm really obsessed with spicy food, specially kimchi.
My main hobby is a type of dance with taikos, karate, fans, spears and other things inspired by Eisa in Okinawa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling alone to Japan to research migration policies and to discover my roots, which led me to meeting a long distance relative after 2 months of searching in Toyama, Japan. After that I backpacked throughout the Kansai, Chubu and Kantou regions of Japan for 2 weeks on a low budget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can serve as practice for english, portuguese or japanese. Really happy if someone would teach me chinese spanish or korean. This 3 are the ones i'm most interested right now.
