About Me

Two summers was my first time backpacking, and I fell in love with it. Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore convinced me to take a year off of Med school between my 2nd and 3rd years to travel partly with my girlfriend and partly alone for a year.

My parents aren't too happy about me missing out on a year of school, but hey, it's their fault if I have this in my blood: they met while backpacking in Australia ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler: great way to meat people and discover things you otherwise would never have heard about!

As a host: great way to keep in touch with my passion for travelling, to keep on meeting people and help others out.

Interests

I'm studying medecine and I love every minute of it: The human body fascinates me. I can't say I do this in my free time, seeing as I don't have too much of that... But yeah, I love it.

I'm into running, though I have been doing less and less of it lately, and particularly like playing volleyball.

I also have a passion for people: I love talking, learning about people's lives and interests, what drives thems, what makes them happy in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Groovy music (lots of stuff from the 70's ans 80's), Electronic music like Justice, Daft Punk (that most people might know).
I'm a big reader, currently into the Game of Thrones books because (spoiler) the TV series got me hooked and I couldn't wait until next season to know if Jon Snow lives or really dies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 2 nights and 3 days in a forest in Canada with nothing but one match, an extra pair of socks (which became a scarf at night), a water canteen and one meal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help teach you how to do a Rubiks cube or improve your English and French skills while talking!
If you speak spanish or have any other interesting talent, show me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

All I have with me is a backpack full of smelly clothes, an optimistic and enthusiastic vibe, and the will to get to know you as much as I can!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, China, Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Singapore, United States, Viet Nam
