Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student in geophysics, trying to understand what's inside our planet, how it formed, how it will evolve. You can imagine that I'm really into nature, always somewhere on a cool hike, on a surfboard (with difficulty), or petting the closest dog.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Im always trying to travel as part of my studies, and my internships have taken me to the Caribbean, Singapore, Indonesia, America. I really love these opportunities to actually live in the place for an extended period of time and truly discover it as a "local".
Sadly, with the PhD I don't have the opportunity to do this so much, and I want to try to recreate this with Couchsurfing, living with the locals, sharing stories, seeing the place through their eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books
On the Road - Kerouac. Made me fall in love with bebop before even listening to it.
Robots - Asimov. I'm a big scifi fan, and Asimov's book have inspired me as to where the world should be headed.
Les Fleurs Bleues - Queneau. « Tchouang-tseu rêve qu'il est un papillon, mais n'est-ce point le papillon qui rêve qu'il est Tchouang-tseu ? »
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent one month on a boat off the coast of Indonesia, studying the ocean floor to understand the 2004 earthquake .
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to absorb everything I can from any situation, and learn whatever my host has to share. Learning to grow mushrooms, bake bread, speak swahili, ...? You name it, I'm in.
Whatever I can give from my skills, teach some french, guitar, science,..., I'm always keen to.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm super outgoing and I love interacting, sharing stories, laughs, having good times if people are free.
I'm also super respectful and happy to help with anything that needs doing.
I can also make pretty good crêpes, being French and all.
