I'm Alex. I come from a village about 50km from Paris; spent all my youth there.
I studied in Leicester (England) for two years and a few months after I decided to move in Lyon.
Now, back to studies ! I am doing a master in automation and working at the same time (sandwish course).
I enjoy walking around the city, going out, meeting new people, running or some other sports, cooking, guiding people around my city.

Originally, I created an account in order to find a place to stay for a few days during holidays with a friend a few years back. We found a place, it was awesome.
Now I have a big enough flat with a couch to offer so I can host people back.
I live near the city center of Lyon (most would say it is the city center) where everything happens, I'd be happy to share that.

Old french comedies (la Grande Vadrouille, 7è compagnie, etc);
New french comedies (RRRrrr, La Tour Montparnasse Infernale, etc; must see by every young French);
Love the ones with mind blowing endings, the kind nobody really expect and are totally awesome (Butterfly Effect, Donnie Darko, etc);
Gangster movies (Scarface, The Godfather, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, etc, sooo many!);
Some love stories like Twilight... kidding, I didn't like the first one so much, didn't check the others, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a good love story.
I basically enjoy a lot of movies.
Not a big fan of horror movies with scenarios more shitty than the ones in porn movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Went to a safari in Kenya (the one for the pictures, not the killing), saw lions hunting and eating a buffalo, been slightly charged by an elephant (we were in a car, but still!), and lot of great things!

"Piloted" a helicopter (just took the stick for a few minutes while in the air).

Scuba diving in the South of France.

Diving from cliffs in Sardinia (no more than 5/6 meters but it still hurt my head when I dived head first; stupid idea).
