Hey y'all! My name is Alexandrea Griffith. I just graduated from Sam Houston University with a B.A.A. in business administration with a minor in business communications. I'm from Houston, Texas, but have decided to travel so I could learn more about the world I live in. So far, my travels have been great and I can't wait to see more of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing so I can experience the true nature of a particular area I am visiting. There are only so many truly unique cultural experiences one can have while lodging in a hostel with others that are from the same area you are from.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock and pop music are my favorite two genres of music. The Dirty Heads are one of my favorite bands! I like romantic comedies but will also see action packed films like Mad Max. I like to read books about the human psyche and the way our emotions and perceptions effect our view of the world. The Social Animal is my favorite book from that genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Houston, Texas. When you are that high up, it makes you realize that a big place is just a dot on the map.
