About Me

CURRENT MISSION

French guy living in Madrid and traveling the world for my work. Im in the wine industry.

ABOUT ME

I have completed my international business master in 2019, I did part of my studies and career abroad. I had the chance to discover beautiful places and people from all around the world. I am friendly and easy going guy.

Respect for others is a value I am very attached to. I am someone you can count on, clean and reliable as I expect the same from you at my place.

"""I have started couchsurfing some years ago and unfortunately I have never had my own place. As I was traveling/living in different countries, I always had flatmates. Looking forward to have my own spot !! """
>> Update October 2020 : I finally got my own spot. I can welcome you guys !!

PHILOSOPHY

Travel, work hard to achieve goals. Explore cultures. Don't judge on the appearance. Prejudices can fail you to understand someone personality.

". . . I find that there is nothing barbarous and savage in this nation, by anything that I can gather, excepting, that every one gives the title of barbarism to everything that is not in use in his own country. As, indeed, we have no other level of truth and reason than the example and idea of the opinions and customs of the place wherein we live..." (Montaigne)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I am couchsurfing ?

We have developed a sharing economy world over the last decade. Couchsurfing give you a real opportunity to meet a local person when visiting new places. Plus, it matches people who love traveling. Sharing experiences. I like to discover the unknown.

Sharing our experience allow us to learn a lot from others, to build our own opinion. I am passionate by the difference between cultures and I always want to learn more from people. Every culture shock I have lived make me learn a lot of myself.

Interests

I like to do sport. I am always in for outdoor activities (mountain, forest, beach). I have been trying many sport since my childhood. after 9 years of Judo, I went into taekwondo and jujistu. And now since about 10 years, I am practicing boxing. I am trying to follow up the training in each country I settle in

My next destination will be Latin America. Once covid is over I am going to try to settle there.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Movie : thriller, drama, true story ( American history x, dead poets society, the green light, OZ, the Sopranos, .....)
- Music :I like all style of music. particularly interested in groove, deep, rap and jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thanks to my travel I have experienced such extraordinary things.
-One of the best was my second eurotrip in 2015. My friend and I left over a month through Europe by hitchhiking. We did not planned so much, we left from Paris.
We have one objective : don't spend more than 20euro each day. I think that part was the most exciting. While we think eastern Europe is cheaper, we were confronting at camping site where it was usually 25euro to pitch a tent including two persons: means not much money left for the day.
I will qualify this trip in few key words : sauvage camping, amazing people, great experiences, good contact, waiting time on petrol station and many many memories.
(country visited that time : Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Italia)
- another Incredible experience: I had a bones fracture while playing football with monks in Myanmar.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning new cultures, share my own experience, my advices, cooking french specialities.

Thanks to my job, I am learning a lot about wine and mostly the process to make it. If you are interested to learn about that, I would be happy to tell you more

I will give back all the kindness received by all the couchsurfers I met. I want to spend time, show the city, advice on the best spot regarding what you are looking for. Go out if you are in the mood
