About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking life not too seriously.
ABOUT ME
I have a background in art as I used to act in plays as a teenager and as I spent 5 years at INSAS filmschool in Brussels. I've then been making films from 18 to 26 y.o. and when it started to work pretty well for me in the film industry, I decided to stop for a while as I realized I was begining to make films mainly for recognition and not so much for passion anymore.
Now I'm doing smth completely different as I'm learning computer programming at the school 42 and as I'm trying to build a startup with a friend.
As you can probably figure out, It's hard for me to focus on only one thing as I'm curious and interested by so many different domains! So much so that I often end up not finishing things up unfortunately...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because travelling for me is mainly about meeting people and getting to know how everyone around the world lives his/her life in his/her own unique way.
Interests
In my free time, as I still love cinema, I go watch a film or talk to my friends who are still working in the cinema industry.
I also love music and from time to time I get to play some with friends (I play the drums and a little bit of piano).
Sports has always been a big part of my life as I've played tennis, basketball and a bit of football. So whenever my friends are available to play some game, whichever the sport, I'm always up for it.
Other than that I love to learn new things (history, science, math, computers,...) so I spend a lot of time on my computer studying. I love to discover new places too so as often as I can I like to travel. Not very original I know but recently I started to travel on a motorbike and even though this is quite challenging for me sometimes, I simply love this way of traveling!
And finally, maybe the most important thing, with all these activities, I try to stop and just be there without doing anything. Just observing or contemplating. Because in the end that's all that really matters.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
As I already said, I'm deeply in love with music and I'm really eclectic in my tastes. Depending on the mood I could be listening to classical music such as the nocturnes of Chopin, 60's and 70's rock such as the Doors or Led Zeppelin, 80's pop, Old hip hop especially Nas, or even progressive electronic music such as David August or N'to.
FILMS:
There also very eclectic. Too much to count.
COMEDY:
Big big fan of The Simpsons and South Park. Those two pretty much sum up my sense of humor.
BOOKS:
Mostly anything linked with spirituality or self development: the power of now, Allan Watts' books,...
