Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think a country or a region isn't just a bunch of great landscape views, exotic shopping centers and other industrial touristic activities. I want to discover what's behind this brand image : people! CS is an opportunity of exchanges and that's the kind of travel I like.
I've already tried it several times in France, as a host or a guest, and it was -almost- always a pleasure =)

Interests

Serious ones : capitalism operation, ecology, social issues, urbanism, educational systems, modern history, socialist and anarchist philosophy, natural disasters, nuclear accidents,...

Less serious but certainly not less important : reading, laughing, eating to much, playing board games, falling asleep with the sound of rain on the window, watching a storm, playing guitar, swimming in the waves, cooking, playing football or basketball or ultimate (not the fighting style but the freesbee sport) or volley or hockey, live music, hitchhiking, learning english speaking it, climbing, walking on a slackline, dancing, biking ...
