About Me
I'm currently working as a photographer and videographer while doing a bachelor degree in cinema.
Over the past couple of years, my vision of travels has changed a bit. At first I just wanted to get out of the city I grew up in, just see what's out there... But now that I traveled a bit, I see it more as an occasion to challenge my vision of the world as I meet people I would have never talk to. It's an opportunity to listen to them about their experiences in this life. Share mine if they're interested, and have this unique occasion to grow from that encounter and to share it back to the world. That's what I love about photography and documentaries. All of a sudden, it's not just about you anymore. You have this power to show, to share with so many others...
Anyway, I really enjoy great talk so I hope we'll have a chance to get to know each others around a beer ! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because it's one of the best way to really meet people from around the world. Everytime I've been hosted, it was incredible : I've been shown the city, I've learned about the countries and their culture, we shared our travels experiences, and of course meals ! (I'd be glad to cook something for you if you host me !) And even a few drinks ^^
I just love the fact that we can share so much with someone we just met few hours ago, it's just awesome =)
Interests
I'd say that I'm interested in happiness, talking, travelling, philosophy, human sciences (sociology, psychology, history, political science...), cooking, eating, reading, watching movies/series/anime, playing video games/board games, penguins (don't argue, they rock), hiking, road trips, music, photography and so much more !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my childhood I had the chance to travel in France with my family. I've seen some beautiful places like Corsica, Averon, Languedoc Rousillon... I guess I carried that enjoyment for travels, which led me to have a 3 weeks-4 countries Euro trip in Northern Europe with a friend of mine, with the goal to see Sweden and reach Stockholm. And there we were, in Stockholm, hosted by lovely couchsurfers, sat in the living-room of a mansion with view on the sea, talking with a Bulgarian, a Finnish, an Uruguayan, a Swedish and an Estonian ! It's incredible how english, by becoming the first language used by travelers, allows us to connect with people that you wouldn't have dreamed to talk with.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I you're interested I could give you a little introduction to sociology as a discipline that tries to understand how individuals and groups interact to form societies, and how the societies interacts with us =)
I also can teach you a bit about photography : basics of exposure to finally quite your full manual mode and go explore the possibilities that your camera offers, the concept of (sub)framing, how to "capture" a moment when the only thing you have control over is your camera (events, street photography, travels...) ?
Finally, I guess my last specialty would be video games : how do they work, how are they made, how does the industry work, what can we found in it (fun, knowledge, philosophical material, art ? I do think so). So if you're curious, I'd be glad to share more about it ^^
