ABOUT ME

I am someone who comes with a large music collection which I love to sing along to and a love to make people laugh. My hope for the future is to work with kids, travel as much as I can, and meet new people and listen to experiences and stories as well as making some of my own.

I feel that staying with someone who knows more about a place than Wikipedia brings a deeper meaning for me when in a new place. I also love seeing the kindness that hosts put into the world by opening their homes to others.

兴趣

I have no singular interests because just about everything and anything interests me. I do have a love for cooking and live music. If there is water involved, I'm there - kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, tubing, etc. I am awed easily by sunsets and sunrises, mountains and gigantic trees.

I could drive for hours listening to classic rock - The Eagles, Cat Stevens, Bon Jovi, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, etc. I'm a sucker for 80s rom-com like Grease or Dirty Dancing. John Hughes knew what he was doing.

I've always been a reader but I've been drawn to a mix of fantasy, biographies and classics. Currently reading The Hobbit, Wild and the Count of Monte Cristo.

I went on a two week study abroad to Costa Rica with my university and lost my heart there (going to go back for it soon). I'm unable to write down every amazing thing I experienced there but if you're curious, please ask! I have many stories :)

I can teach someone how to experiment with marinades and flavoring, it's my favorite thing to do when cooking!

I am willing to learn anything as long as someone is willing to teach me.

I will share stories and laughter, singing along to songs and someone to jump into the cold water with.

I dabble in the arts with oil pastels, charcoal and watercolors. I will share my love for the world with a piece of art or a home cooked meal!
